From one call path to a boundless galaxy

Every step 9coding has taken is charted here: nine constellations, from the first call path to many models taking turns on one piece of work in the browser. Shipped work shines, work in progress pulses, plans wait as outlines. When the core lights up, the whole galaxy shines.

Ensemble · Every model at its post, handing off in order to finish one piece of work

  1. CompletedProcessSub-agent mode design finalized

    A lead agent plans, sub-agents execute in order, a review closes; models never add rounds on their own.

  2. CompletedProcessSub-agent mode, phase one: orchestration core built

    Off by default; interface and evaluation still under way; not yet available.

  3. In progressSub-agent allocation: the user assigns a model to every role

    Up to five sub-agents beside the lead, as architect, developer, stylist or reviewer; any chat model in the 9coding Web list can be assigned, and each slot can name a fallback.

  4. In progressTask prompts: a dedicated prompt for each of five built-in roles

    Every step carries the plan’s shared conventions, the hand-off notes of earlier steps and the current content of the files involved.

  5. In progressPlans confirmed first, spending visible step by step

    By default the plan waits for the user’s go-ahead; the call count range is stated before sending, each step shows what it actually cost, and an optional cap limits a run’s spending.

  6. PlannedCustom task prompt templates

    Task instructions for sub-agents, written, saved and reused.

  7. PlannedWorkflow framework

    Sub-agent mode’s built-in plan → dispatch → ordered hand-off → review is its first form; next, whole workflows saved as templates to reuse and adjust.

  8. PlannedPlans that can be reassigned, trimmed and reordered

    Before a run, each step can be reassigned, dropped or reordered.

  9. PlannedNotes added mid-run

    Extra instructions leave the current step alone and join the next hand-off.

  10. PlannedUndo the file changes of a single step
  11. PlannedSub-agent teams remembered per chat or per project

    Before sending, the actual spend of the same team’s last run is shown — a record, not an estimate.

Core · In progress and planned

The core lights up whenIn progressSub-agent mode shipsPlanned9coding Web opens to everyone

  1. In progressSub-agent mode (in development)

  6. HorizonA shared library of prompt and workflow templates

    Task prompts and workflow templates shared between users.

  7. HorizonBeyond the front end: full projects through a local runner

    The runtime adapter layer already leaves room for it.

Twelve principles behind every constellation

Guide stars always shine and are not counted in progress.

  1. List prices equal official prices; extra value only through top-up bonuses
  2. Bonus credits never expire; the balance never lapses
  3. One key for every model on sale
  4. State facts only: what arrives, what is spent and every proportion, shown as is and never estimated
  5. One set of rules for everyone
  6. In 9coding Web, project code runs only in the user’s browser and the key stays on the server
  7. Keys are never placed in third-party links
  8. Motion explains the request’s journey, never decoration
  9. Feedback stays where the action happened
  10. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English, in step
  11. In 9coding Web, the user picks the model: when it is unavailable the product says so, and never swaps it silently
  12. Models hand off one after another; the order of the record is the order of execution

Every curve in this sky is computed from a formula.

The opening 9, the arm, the star fields, the orbit in the core, the constellation links and the light of full ignition each come from one of the formulas below, with constants taken from the logo’s own outline and the golden ratio φ.

z(t)=c0+∑j=164cje2πikjt
The opening 9The logo’s outline is sampled at 1,024 points of equal arc length and passed through a discrete Fourier transform; the 64 largest terms become 64 chained rotating circles that redraw the 9 to within 1/100 of its height. The constant term is the outline’s centroid; the other terms are numbered by radius, largest first, and the frequency k is how many turns a circle makes per tracing.
r=ebθ
b=ln⁡φπ/2
The armA golden logarithmic spiral: every quarter turn the radius grows by a factor of φ while the shape stays the same. Within each constellation, milestones sit at equal angles, so the gap between neighbors along the arm is proportional to their distance from the center and also grows by a factor of φ every quarter turn. Real galactic arms are close to logarithmic spirals too.
θn=n⋅2πφ2
rn=cn
The star fieldsThe sunflower arrangement (Vogel’s model): star n is turned n golden angles (about 137.508°) at a distance proportional to √n, so the field is equally dense everywhere, with no clumps. The seeds in the core follow the same rule, and the share of them lit is the progress.
z(θ)=Rcos⁡(5θ)eiθ
=R2(e6iθ+e−4iθ)
The orbit in the coreA five-petal rose, the sum of two circles turning in opposite directions; after each petal it passes through the center before drawing the next, like a hand-off in sequence.
z(t)=exp⁡((1−t)ln⁡zA+tln⁡zB)
Constellation linksEach link is a straight line in logarithmic coordinates, ln z; back on the page it becomes a short logarithmic spiral around the galactic center. Which stars are linked is decided by a minimum spanning tree in the same coordinates.
I(r,t)=1+Asech2⁡ln⁡r−ctw
ec⋅0.3 s=φ
Full ignitionWhen the galaxy is fully lit, a pulse of light travels out from the core; its radius grows by a factor of φ every 0.3 s, so it sweeps along the arm at a steady angular pace.

One key. One balance. Every model, working together.

One key for every model on sale, one balance from first call to insight to creation, official list prices and bonus credits that never expire. When the core lights up, a single piece of work passes through many models: a lead agent plans, sub-agents each run the model the user assigned, one after another, and a review closes it out — every call accounted for. Here today. Here tomorrow.
